Jacob Rittenhouse Home
This is the largest of the buildings remaining in Historic RittenhouseTown.
A recent study of the building concludes that it was likely constructed
about 1810-1830, in a style that might be considered transitional, combining
the Federal and Greek Revival. Notable features include a central chimney
and a convenient kitchen drain. This house is not yet open to the public.
(This building is labeled 209 on the map).
